Literature Text

Monsters prowl
Werewolves howl
Vampires drink your blood
The sun sleeps last
Vultures fly fast
Fire imps bite through wood

Axe heads chop
Eyeballs pop
Bogey's on the roam
Bones-a-clatter
Rats-a-scatter
Gremlins wreck your home

Every night
Scare and Fright
Go sweeping through the town
They wake the dead
Hide under beds
And pull poor treetops down

Then daylight breaks
The sun awakes
Monsters turn to sparks
As people weep
I'm still asleep
I'm not scared of the dark
I wrote this poem ages ago, when I was about 13 or something, I forget. Anyway, I've been waiting to upload it on Halloween. Happy Halloween!
